About Me

At the heart of my practice lies a deep connection to myth, story, and place, which serve as enduring inspirations for my art.

My career has always revolved around the creative arts and design. Since retiring from my role as a lecturer at the Arts University, Plymouth I've continued to work as a designer/maker, over the last two years I've been able to fully dedicate myself to my lifelong passion for drawing and art.

Connecting Histories Through Art

I’m interested in the space between the viewer and my work—a space  that resonates with their personal histories. Art is a dialogue, a bridge between the visible and the unseen.

The most rewarding part of being an artist lies in uncovering hidden layers of meaning and sharing these discoveries. I believe this exchange inspires reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of the shared human experience.
